im interested in the arduino hacks being banned, will people using an arduino board as a custom mouse or keyboard get banned too?
and what will happen if i have val running in the background while i work on something like a macropad?

Using external hardware like Arduino boards to create custom inputs for VALORANT, such as custom mice or keyboards, can potentially lead to bans if Riot's anti-cheat system, Vanguard, detects them as cheating devices. While developing a non-gaming related macropad using an Arduino board with VALORANT running in the background is less likely to trigger a ban, it's always better to be cautious. If detected, you could face penalties ranging from account suspensions to hardware bans. To avoid any issues, it's best to work on such projects when VALORANT is not running, or ensure that your custom devices do not interact with the game.
