Is hexagon launcher supposed to show every application without pressing anything?
The Stardust logo is there, however no matter what button i press on it, the applications do not show. Is it possible that hexagon isn't detecting any desktop files somehow?

I'm using WiVRn with a Quest 2 on Arch (btw)
the only error im getting is presumably from monado
sec
ah yeah you have to grab an app and drop it in space where you want it to launch
and you're supposed to tap the center icon
sorry, wasn't clearly explained because it's a lot of work to show it
did that help?
uhh
nope
must be something wrong on my end
can you send a recording of what you're doing?
might help me figure out what's going wrong
kk
are you using controllers or hand tracking?
also you tap it with index finger
controllers
you're using the main branch on everything right?
shoot it's the hand emulation by monado or stereokit
huh
i fixed that in the latest dev stuff but that's not stable at all
though i will be making it stable soon
im running it with the disable controller option
you don't want that option if you're using controllers
alr
i removed the option entirely when i got proper detection of if hands are fake or real
but that's in dev
so... not stable at all and half broken
anyway try without the disable controller option
also nice hdri background btw
thx
alr testing
anyway the fake hands suck
stardust's designed for full articulated hand tracking or controllers directly
😬
the arrow
it don squish
what do you mean
recording?
second
stupid ui far ray making people think it's a laser pointer
hgnlkjhdsfgfndjiskl;jgndsk stereokit
anyway something is definitely wrong here
and it's definitely a problem with stardust or such
have you gotten... any spatial input to work yet?
spatial..?
like has any stardust client responded to tap or pinch or such at all?
app grid defo hasnt
you're supposed to be able to pinch grab that stuff, dangit :/
can you run magnetar and put your hand around the lines and let me know if white circles show up?
ill compile it rq
no circles
so input just isn't being sent at all
brilliant
:blobcatgoogly:
well shoot, mind trying stardust again in a few days when i've updated it to a total refactor of the input system?
sure
ill read the rust book over that time
nice
wanna make stardust clients? :3
sure
but i have a LOT to learn
understandable
well feel free to ask questions anytime
thankies ^_^
the issue won't be marked solved until you get input working properly!!
understood
