Valorant not responding on startup
I was literally able to play a match this morning until it said that I needed to update. So, I updated the game but now I am stuck on the startup screen. Like I hear the Valorant sound startup but after a few seconds it just stops and freezes on the loading screen. When I look at it in the task manager, it says that it is not responding? I tried uninstalling vanguard/valorant but that didn't work... I have a MSI Thin GF63 with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU and Windows 11 Home...any help?

Since you've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Valorant and Vanguard, here are a few additional steps you can take:
1. Update your Graphics Drivers: Ensure your NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 drivers are up to date. Use the GeForce Experience app to check for updates.
2. Run as Administrator: Right-click the VALORANT shortcut and select “Run as administrator” to see if it makes a difference.
3. Compatibility Mode: Right-click the VALORANT shortcut, select "Properties," go to the "Compatibility" tab, and check "Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 8."
4. Disable Overlays: Disable any overlays (such as Discord, NVIDIA GeForce Experience, etc.) as these might interfere with the game.
5. Check for Background Applications: Some background applications could cause conflicts. Temporarily disable any non-essential background applications.
6. Firewall/Antivirus: Ensure Valorant is allowed through your firewall and antivirus. Sometimes these can block game files.
7. Clean Boot: Perform a clean boot to see if there is any software conflict. Instructions here.
8. Reset Network Settings: Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the following commands:
These steps could potentially resolve your issue. If it persists, consider submitting a ticket to Riot Games support for further assistance.
