Main Character Personality issues.
I know everyone has a different view of their own MC and not everything can be accommodated but I think it's a real shame that the more time passes, the more the MC is forced to act unsure, worried and reticent toward the magic and adventures going on in the game with no option to actually embrace them or be excited about it all.
At this point the MC's worried and unsure emote is basically his signature reaction to what happens in the seasonal story. A far cry from MC boldly challenging the Freys during the first year.
I'm sure some players prefer to play a meeker MC but I think it would be important to still have options or moments where our MC jump at the call of adventure and actually face a challenge confidently.
