Alright just gonna go by some of the shows I liked and looks from those shows that were my favorites
@smiles I heard you were looking for a slouchy DB
Tbh I have never paid attention to Thom Browne runways but wow there is much more than suits with shorts…
Hed Mayner:
Undercover: the accessories were great and I really enjoyed the silhouettes on display and the play of textures and patterns.
Loewe (stupid feather details aside):
Actually a big fan of their show this year
Sacai: a standout show from one of my favs, and one of the collections where I enjoyed basically every piece. V easy to slot into my current wardrobe.
Trying to figure out what is going on with the waistband in no 9 here?
Loewe was so so so so good, I love the trousers too much
KidSuper (styled by wisdm):
ikr, its so cool. No idea how they did it
Feng Chen Wang:
I think it’s a jumpsuit?
The whole thom haute couture show was amazing
Schiaparelli was beautiful too as always
Unfortunate
The fact that wisdm got to style a show is so insane
Good for him
Perhaps if we combine our influence we too can style a show
Gucci styled by MFAD
We could combine all of our wardrobes and bank accounts and still probably not add up to a wisdm at this point
Maybe if we slot in Nick knacks’ eBay inventory
If we could get Mew and Dylan back maybe we got a shot
I'm torn on kenzo's show
Dylan wardrobe helps Dylan bank account hurts
some of you haven't seen wisdm stunt https://www.tiktok.com/@wisdm8/video/7348529742162726187?_r=1&_t=8kqS0ziQnfi
if you can't break $100k in a single fit what are you even doing
Mew got bands tho
The craziest part of these “do a x $$$ fit” vids isn’t the price tags so much as he actually makes good fits in some of them
only some of them tbf
i think he personally hates those vids but they get views
Yeah “some” is doing heavy lifting here
The pleated trousers look so good in motion
Dries Van Noten (send-off show):
Wanna talk about slouchy DB jackets
these my ideal
Jacket in the 4th pic 🤌🏽
Amiri: there are nice echoes to 70s dandyism with the exaggerated lapels/collars, the tie substitutes and the jewelry. Probably my favorite """wearable""" collection
Dior Homme: underwhelming suiting (watch it get featured on red carpets) but some great shapes with their separates, especially outerwear and shorts
like smiles intimated, the time feels right to get a big DB blazer or coat
Still amazed at how awful, low quality and trashy are Amiri’s ready to wear collections compared to their runway
