Controller configuration - Steam/system-wide
hey everyone, looking for some help with my controller configuration setup. Essentially I want to use my controller (wired) as my primary controller, however when I boot up games (rocket league being my primary one) it reads the controller on the actual Ally as priority before my wired one. Is there any way to shift the priority on this?
Additionally, if I have steam open and try to boot into Rocket League, it then reads my controller, but only reads it and treats it like a mouse - right joystick moves the cursor around and gameplay definitely feels weird.
I know these issues are related but I've been struggling to adapt to Bazzite primarily due to this - I use my Ally a lot in desktop mode and foresee this being a frequent problem, so throwing it out there to see if anyone can throw a lifeline. Thanks for all the help in advance!!

in gamemode: open the right menu (forgot which button did this on the ally) and change controller priority there
in desktop mode: non steam games use the "desktop" layout, change the desktop layout to "gamepad" in steams controller settings (be ready to change this back using the touch screen since your controls will no longer work as a mouse once you change this)
NOTE: not able to provide any pictures as i am at work...
