"Error when activating storage configuration: Device Active" installing Bazzite on a Yoga 16arp8
There are plenty of people online who seem to be using this Lenovo Yoga model just fine on linux, so I'm pretty sure it's possible to install a basset on it, but my friend is running to this error in the installer and we aren't sure why. I suspect it's because of the unique raid setup that newer lenovo's have, so we looked around in the bios for the option to switch back to ahci for the SSD controller, but weren't able to find it. I found a way to open the advanced bios settings, but we're taking a break for today, so I figured I'd ask in the meantime whether this was an issue on linux's end and not the hardware.

They ended up installing regular Fedora Workstation, which worked for some reason?
"Device is active" sometimes shows up when Windows is hibernated and it locks the whole drive for some reason (can get around it by restarting rather than shutting down windows or just by turning off hibernation altogether). Or at least that seems to be the issue. Was this a dualboot on the same drive setup?
They were trying to replace windows entirely
Also, they installed fedora atomic, instead of workstation, and then rebased to bazzite, and that worked too
But not the original install
Its so weird
