When we need to make our own custom filter chain in spring security and what's actually it's use case ?

Essentially if you want custom security-related logic
e.g. if you want specific things with HTTP headers
or if you want custom authentication logic
or specify a DB for which to get user information
So essentially you would want to have it in most applications using Spring Security
