How does the soft check on workers limit work?
I've noticed that the first soft cap is about 100$ so i guess that having a balance that's more than 100$ will increase my workers limit. What happens if my balance goes to 90$ afterwards? Will my limit be lowered? What will happen to active workers?

The soft limit just checks your balance at the time of the upgrade, if you do fall below that balance at another time you will not lose access to the upgraded workers count.

I think it will stay
active workers: well it will stay there, unless you got no balance for running it
The description is kinda confusing. Almost looks like as the limit would scale down and up based on my balance rather than my spent
Which one
Nah it won't I guess...
Workers don't scale down as far as I know, but not sure why you're concerned about this in the first place. You can enable automatic topup on your account when your balance reaches a certain theshold, so its a non-issue.
You will always run into issues on RunPod if your balance runs out, moral of the story is to put measures in place to stop that from ever happening.
But if your balance is like $10, your workers won't scale down.
The issue is letting it run out. not letting it run low.
You can also set up email notifications for low balance.
But I would make sure to top it up before its like $10, because people sometimes have issues with their cards.
Yeah it was mostly about understanding if I have to keep my balance above the "soft limit" imposed by the workers or not, so that I can set the auto-recharges accordingly
