The issue you're facing with the graphics driver crashing can be quite frustrating. Here are several steps you can take to resolve this:
1. Update Graphics Drivers:
Ensure your graphics drivers are up-to-date. Go to the official Lenovo support page or your graphics card manufacturer's website (NVIDIA/AMD/Intel) and download the latest drivers. Install them and restart your laptop.
2. Check System Requirements:
Make sure your laptop meets the minimum system requirements for VALORANT. Check Riot Games' official system requirements and ensure your hardware is compatible.
3. Adjust In-Game Settings:
Lower your in-game graphics settings to reduce the load on your GPU. This includes settings like resolution, texture quality, and FPS limits.
4. Disable Overclocking:
If you have overclocked your GPU or CPU, revert them to their default settings as overclocking can cause instability.
5. Check for Windows Updates:
Ensure your Windows operating system is fully updated. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for updates.
6. Clean Install:
Perform a clean installation of your graphics driver. This can be done using tools like Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to remove any remnants of previous drivers before installing the new ones.
7. Monitor Temperatures:
Ensure your laptop is not overheating. Use software to monitor your GPU and CPU temperatures and clean out any dust from vents and fans.
If the issue persists, consider reaching out to Riot Games support for further assistance.
