Autorole + category
Is it possible connect autorole with category? I have a server that we have "verification role" and i would like it to add category as well.

Hi there, when you say category are you referring to the category roles? (Role separators)

Ayako has a feature that takes care of category roles all by itself, you don't need to put them in your autoroles

thanks, and just 1 more question, can you add category to only one person?
if i have seperate recrutation bcs im running a clan on discord and i need to add specific categories (separators) only to "recruits"?
also for some reason that didnt work for me, tried to do it on test server and it didnt apply roles with /setting role separator apply
Ayako only applies the separators to ppl who qualify for it
Meaning (going by the thumbnail of the video) if you don't have "DMs open", "DMs closed" or "Ask to DM" ayako won't give you "DM roles"

category roles are a global thing and only for aesthetic purposes. If you need to group your members by a certain qualifier I don't think category roles are the thing for you
When do you want to apply recruit to your member?
after they agree to being a recruit, we have ppl who just join our server and just spend time on it, but we also have ppl who want to be a part of community
Ah so you're looking for self-roles, button-roles or reaction-roles
The user will actively have to decide they want that role to be given it
Most common is a channel with a list of roles and little buttons which give the roles to the user who clicks the button

main admin is not the best fan of button roles. He wants an admin to be able to type a command to add roles to a person
That would simply be
/roles give and doesn't require any kind of setup, as an admin does it
If you want your user to be able to pick roles without button roles, you can take a look at /settings roles self-roles
