Windowed Fullscreen mode usually makes alt-tabbing faster by reducing the need for resolution changes, but this experience can vary based on your hardware and system configuration. Here are a few steps to help improve this:
1. Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure your GPU drivers are updated to the latest version.
2. Disable Game Mode: Windows 10/11 Game Mode might affect performance. To disable, go to
Settings -> Gaming -> Game Mode
and toggle it off.
3. Adjust In-Game Settings: Lowering certain graphical settings in VALORANT may improve performance and responsiveness.
4. Close Background Applications: Ensure no other intensive applications are running in the background which might slow down the switching process.
5. Monitor Refresh Rate: Ensure your monitor's refresh rate settings are properly configured in Windows display settings.
If the issue persists, you might want to stick with the standard windowed mode until it's improved in a future patch.
