Recommendations for Chukkas?

Hello! I am new to the server and just got back into caring about clothes and I've got this trip to California coming up in under two weeks and was wondering what brands make good unlined Suede Chukkas under $500? I've been looking in the thrift stores and online. I appreciate being able to see how shoes fit on me at thrift stores, the only problem is I just don't know what brands are good. i think alden is the gold standard for unlined boots still in production fwiw there's plenty of aldens on ebay; the trick is finding the right last which can be a battle without trying them on in-store rancourt blakes and the allen edmonds-massdrop collab are other options but i believe they're discontinued and thus on ebay
