Steam Keyboard not typing capital letters in KDE
talking about this in #🎮bazzite to no avail, so i'm posting it here, it's making me crazy.
using the steam keyboard, holding the left trigger and typing will NOT type a capital letter (or the symbols on the number row) even though visually it shows it. this happens on every app/ui element EXCEPT for steam itself. this is KDE, never had an issue like this on gnome. any ideas? this is making me crazy

It's working for me on KDE in steam. Are you on a handheld image? What hardware are you using?

bazzite-deckI unfortunately don't have a handheld to try and reproduce. Will see if anyone else has the same issue

im being gaslit
so i did something very illegal and i rebased to gnome (after removing some kde config files) and now the keyboard works!!! lol
Something on the homefolder would have caused it yeah
If you want to see if it's user specific, you could do another illegal u-turn and switch back to KDE, create a new user and see if your issue persists with the new user.
