Multiple Worlds in one server as a Multiverse (Fabric)

I just created a server for me and some IRL friends. Some of us like Vanilla and some of us want mods. Is there a way to have it so that we can all interact in the same server, but code a "portal" of some sorts between the modded and vanilla world? The server is on 1.21 already and using fabric. I was looking into the multiworld mod on curseforge, but it isn't compatible with 1.21 yet. If anyone has had success with that mod, could you let me know?

should use a proxy tbh your setup wouldnt be very good even if there was a mod supported

Yeah, I could try 2 servers but I thought it would be fun to have them all in one.

I'm honestly not wure what you mean by using a proxy. I agree that the setup might not work great but I'd like to try it if possible I'd rather not pay for a host since I'm hosting this world from my pc

You can't have 2 different modlists in one server. You're only solution is to set up 2 servers, each with their respective modlist, and then connect it all with velocity

there's definitely plugins/mods that link the chat of 2 seperate servers, that way the feel like they're the same
