High ping issues can be frustrating. Here are a few steps you can follow to troubleshoot the problem:
1. Restart Network Devices: Power cycle your router and modem by unplugging them for 30 seconds and then plugging them back in.
2. Check Network Usage: Ensure no other apps or devices are consuming significant bandwidth on your network.
3. Update Network Drivers: Ensure your network drivers are up to date by checking the manufacturer’s website.
4. Use Wired Connection: If you're on a Wi-Fi connection, try switching to a wired connection as it's more stable.
5. Close Background Applications: Close any unnecessary background applications that might be using the internet.
6. Contact ISP: If the issue persists, contact your Internet Service Provider to check for any issues on their end.
If none of these solutions work, you might want to submit a ticket to Riot Games support for further assistance: Riot Games Support.
