It sounds like your game might not be detecting the correct refresh rate. Here are a few steps to fix it: 1. Check In-Game Settings: Go to VALORANT settings > Video > General, and ensure the "Display Mode" is set to Fullscreen. Check the "Resolution" and "Refresh Rate" to ensure they match your monitor's specs.
2. Graphics Driver Update: Ensure your graphics drivers are up to date from your GPU’s manufacturer (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel). 3. Windows Settings: Right-click on the desktop > Display Settings > Advanced Display Settings > Display Adapter Properties. In the Monitor tab, set the Screen refresh rate to 120Hz. 4. NVIDIA Control Panel/AMD Software: If applicable, go to your GPU control panel and make sure the global refresh rate is set to 120Hz. 5. Cable Check: Ensure you’re using a cable that supports 120Hz, like HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.2. 6. Restart Game and PC: Sometimes a simple restart can help the game detect the correct settings. If those steps don't work, please check the Riot Support site for more detailed troubleshooting.
