The VAN 1067 error is usually related to security settings in your system, primarily involving Secure Boot, TPM (Trusted Platform Module), or Windows version requirements. Here are some steps to resolve this issue:
1. Enable Secure Boot and TPM:
- Restart your computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings. This is usually done by pressing a specific key like Del, F2, or Esc during startup.
- Within the BIOS/UEFI, enable Secure Boot and TPM. The specific steps can vary depending on your motherboard, so refer to your motherboard's manual for precise instructions.
2. Update Windows:
- Ensure you're running the latest version of Windows. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and check for updates.
3. Verify BIOS Mode:
- Before enabling Secure Boot, check if your system is using UEFI or Legacy BIOS mode. Enabling Secure Boot on a system configured with Legacy BIOS can render Windows unbootable.
- Open System Information (type
msinfo32
in the Run dialog) and check under "BIOS Mode."
4. Support Articles:
- Check the following support articles for detailed guidance:
- VAN9001, VAN9003 Troubleshooting
- Vanguard Restrictions
If these steps don't resolve the issue, you might need to submit a ticket to Riot Games Support for further assistance.
