Ping spikes can definitely be frustrating. Here are a few things you can try to stabilize your connection:
1. Reset Network Settings: Run these commands in Command Prompt as admin:
netsh int ip reset
, ipconfig /release
, ipconfig /renew
, ipconfig /flushdns
, and netsh winsock reset
. Then restart your computer.
2. Check Firewall: Make sure VALORANT is allowed through your firewall. You can find more details here....2 Replies

3. Close Background Apps: Ensure no other applications are consuming bandwidth (streaming, downloads, uploads, etc.).
4. Use Ethernet: If you're on Wi-Fi, try using an Ethernet cable for a more stable connection.
5. Gameplay Servers: Make sure you're connected to the recommended server for your region in the VALORANT settings.
6. ISP Issues: Sometimes, the issue can be on your ISP's end, even if other games seem fine. Contacting your ISP can help identify or resolve these issues.
