It sounds like you need to enable Secure Boot for VALORANT to run properly on your new PC. Before proceeding, it's important to check if your system is using UEFI mode instead of Legacy BIOS, as enabling Secure Boot on a system configured with Legacy BIOS can render Windows installation unbootable. Here’s how to enable Secure Boot: 1. Check UEFI Mode: - Type msinfo32 into the Windows search bar and hit enter. - Look for "BIOS Mode". If it reads UEFI, you can proceed. If it says Legacy, do not proceed without converting to UEFI. 2. Enable Secure Boot: - Restart your PC and enter the BIOS/UEFI setup by pressing the appropriate key during startup (usually F2, DEL, or ESC). - Navigate to the Boot or Security tab. - Find the Secure Boot option and set it to Enabled. - Save changes and exit the BIOS setup. 3. Update Windows: - Ensure your Windows 11 is fully updated by going to Settings > Windows Update and installing any available updates. For detailed steps tailored to your motherboard, refer to the motherboard manual or manufacturer’s website.
