Whenever I launch or close valorant my entire computer freezes and I am unable to do anything without rebooting my pc. PC is only around one month old and all drivers are up to date. I only get this issue with valorant and nothing else please help.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing these issues. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the freezing problem:
1. Update Graphics Drivers: Double-check that your graphics drivers are not only up to date but also from the official source (e.g., NVIDIA, AMD).
2. Clean Boot: Perform a clean boot to eliminate software conflicts. This ensures that no other application is interfering with VALORANT.
3. Check System Files: Run 'sfc /scannow' in an elevated Command Prompt to check for corrupt system files.
4. Adjust In-Game Settings: Lower your in-game graphics settings to see if the issue persists.
5. Disable Overlays: Turn off any overlays such as Discord, NVIDIA GeForce Experience, or others that might be running.
6. Background Apps: Ensure no demanding applications are running in the background.
7. Reinstall VALORANT and Vanguard: Uninstall both, restart your computer, and then reinstall them.
8. Hardware Check: Confirm your hardware (GPU, RAM) is properly seated and not defective.
If none of these steps work, I'd advise submitting a ticket to Riot Support for further assistance.
