If you're still encountering the "Riot couldn't start" error despite ensuring that VGC (Vanguard service) is running and reinstalling both the Riot Client and VALORANT, try the following steps: 1. Restart Services: Open 'Run' (Windows + R) and type services.msc. Find "vgc" and "vgk", make sure both are set to Automatic and are running. Restart both services. 2. Check Task Manager: Make sure no instance of the Riot or Vanguard processes is running. End any that are. 3. Firewall/Antivirus: Ensure VALORANT and Riot Client are allowed through your firewall and antivirus software. 4. Clean Boot: Perform a clean boot to ensure no background programs are interfering. Here's a guide: Clean Boot in Windows. 5. Update Windows and Drivers: Make sure your Windows OS and graphics drivers are fully updated. 6. Run as Admin: Run both the Riot Client and VALORANT as Administrator. If none of these steps work, consider creating a ticket through Riot Games support for further assistance.

My device doesn't have "vgk" and valorant isn't detecting "vgc" as running oddly enough
