X11 or Wayland (KDE)?
I have issues some issues with both at the moment. Wayland has more issues with apps especially electron apps and steam with the former being incredibly laggy and the latter flickering occasionally and with some games too (witcher 3)
As for X11, I have issues shutting down, restarting or logging off via the gui menu but none through the terminal. If I shutdown or restart or log off through the gui the desktop environment disappears and I am left with a black screen that I can only leave by accessing the terminal.
Which environment is the recommended one and does anyone have any fixes for the issues I have stated above? Running an nvidia graphics card.

are you sure that Steam is running on the nvidia card? I had to manually start it using
switcherooctl launch steamis that command done on terminal?

I tried that command on wayland and it didnt change anything
