Suit choice for a wedding in Italy
I'm currently dealing with massive amounts of indecision over what suit/tux/dinner jacket to get for a Tuscan wedding next month. My current wardrobe has expired at the hands of time and my booty gains.
The dress code calls for "creative black tie", so a dinner jacket would be fun, but my other buds attending are all definitely wearing suits. The only tuxes I've heard of are on the groom and one other. I guess the intention was for us to be creative and festive with our formal choice, like wear brighter colors and patterns - not necessarily wear black tuxes.
If you have recommendations for finding fun dinner jackets or tuxedos I'd love to hear them! I know I'll have other weddings in the future, so something fun and summery is totally worth it, as long as its not so bold you can only wear it once.
I'm currently considering one of a few summer suits from Spier and McKay, ranked in the following order:
Green tropical suit:

Khaki suit:

"Wheat" tropical suit:

Interested to hear y'all's thoughts and suggestions on the topic!

What is it with dress codes nowadays? "Creative black tie" provides very little guidance and a lot of anxiety.
If you want something you can reuse, I'd say light gray or khaki, summer weight wool, and a fun shirt and tie
I.e. not green, unless you know that's something you'll wear
I was kind of interested in green just cause it kind of fits my generally outdoorsy, gruff vibe I got going on nowadays. I think I can dress up the wheat suit though.
The green is a lovely shade. I'd probably go with that. "Wheat" is nice too. The khaki looks pretty dull.
Thanks! Think I’m gonna send it, hopefully the fit is right!
