Apparently i'm not using 100% of my GPU (performance problems once again)
It's me once again, but noticing another problem, apparently im not using 100% of my GPU, it's that normal? If not, is there a way to fix it?

Typically 100% GPU usage is good for graphically intensive games but it looks like you playing Morrowind which shouldn't be too intensive. I guess you could install more graphics mods if you want to use more GPU power.
that is Elden ring but game is capped at 60fps like every fromsoft game
It's Elden Ring (i love morrowind you remembered me that i have to replay it lmao)
Indeed
Im testing the performance for more accurate results
Testing some bios settings and blabla
So, the game is not running so well
compared to windows
i know, i know, things works differently here but is kinda a good difference for me
and dont know what to do
same area on windows runs 60 fps
but on linux runs 49-57 fps
not mentioning the FPS spikes
anyone could help me?
How long have you been running your elden ring on linux? I read somewhere that the first hour is a little slow as its building up the shader cache
more then 2 days to be honest
oh. Then its probably not the shaders then 😦 which gpu are you using and are you running x11 or wayland?
if it a newer amd card, it could be caused by the power limit defaulting too low and throttling.
but raising it to the correct value introduces instability and the card tries to clock way too high and crashes.
wayland i think
its an RX 6600
i've downloaded LACT
but i did nothing with it
These are the current values
Ah. try running it on x11. I had some issues with the witcher 3 on wayland and x 11 ran better but I was using an nvidia card so that might not apply so much to you.
Tested here, no results
Kinda sad to be honest
Solution
Yep the problem is kind serious now, the fps keeps getting worse
