Laptop not detecting power state changes

Hi there, I have installed Bazzite on my Asus TUF F-15. It has been running really well except for whenever I unplug the laptop from AC power KDE does not seem to detect this change still dysplaying a charging icon. This is an issue because I have set up some custom settings inside KDE Energy Savings to reduce brightness, change to battery saver, and to reduce te refresh rate to 60Hz (via kscreen-doctor). These setting do not work due to this issue. Using ´upower -m´ part of the system did react to me unplugging and plugging it in to AC. I have attached a image of neofetch in case it helps. I was wondering what could be done to solve this issue.
