Updating email address that I no longer have access to?
Hi all. I can't seem to figure out how to update my email address, when I no longer have access to the original email address I used to verify the account. I also can't create support tickets without verifying the email address again. Help!

This is the error I get when I attempt to access the ticket I previously created
These links may help, but they only work when logged out. You can always use an Incognito Window or a Private Window to ensure you're logged out.

<<< that might work, I'll give it a try
I did already use this form once @FloppyDisk 💾 - i cannot access the ticket system to see a response
The email was disabled years ago. How else can I prove it's my account? I've had it for many years. Moving everything is a nightmare.\
You guys don't have a recovery email option available
you can't use login help with the "I cannot receive e-mail to this address" box?
Could you please reply to this thread/email from the email address that you wish to disable 2FA? For the protection and security of your account, we need to be extremely careful before disabling this feature on a customer's account. We need the confirmation first from the email address that you wish to disable 2FA.
The security of your account is a major priority to us and again our sincere apologies for the added delay here.
That was the response I got. I certainly can't reply from the email address I can't access 😦
Can you reply saying so?
I did
my understanding is there is other ways to verify if you have access to the origin behind one of the websites in that account for example
did you get a reply with the same thing, or just waiting?
I'm just trying to get my Home Assistant running with google home :X lmfao
happy to do that
just waiting now
ah ok
you don't have the password/2fa, or access to the email?
Access to the email
When I try to do things like view my support tickets, create api keys, or authorize a callback it says 'email verification needed'
you have stuff on that account, but never verified your email up to the point you lost it?
there's actions which require you to verify email, would have thought you'd hit one of those before you lost it
I'm sure I already did years ago. I've had the account since probably 2009 or something
At some point between my last verification and now, I closed the business the email address is tied to
on the surface you'd think it'd be an easy ask though "Please switch my email from one I never verified to one I do have access to, I have access to the account itself" but just gotta have them do it
hmm it shouldn't ever expire, weird
Indeed, it's never been a problem til now cuz I've only done relatively basic things like DNS
