I just upgraded my setup and this error keeps showing up
It says vanguard requires secure boot to be enabled but after going though my system I found it was already enabled, If anyone knows how to fix this I would appreciate it very much.

The VAN9003 error indicates that Vanguard requires Secure Boot to be enabled. Since you've confirmed that Secure Boot is enabled, it’s possible that your system might be configured incorrectly between Legacy BIOS and UEFI mode. Follow these steps to ensure proper configuration:
1. Check BIOS Mode:
- Press
Win + R
, type msinfo32
, and press Enter.
- Look for "BIOS Mode" in the System Information window. If it says "Legacy", you'll need to switch to UEFI.
2. Switch to UEFI Mode:
- Restart your PC and enter BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing F2
, Del
, or Esc
during startup).
- Switch your BIOS to UEFI mode if it's set to Legacy.
- Note: Changing this might require reinstalling Windows or converting your disk from MBR to GPT. On this, follow detailed guides online or seek assistance.
3. Enable Secure Boot:
- While in BIOS/UEFI settings, ensure Secure Boot is enabled.
4. Reinstall Vanguard:
- Uninstall Riot Vanguard by going to Add or Remove Programs
.
- Restart your computer.
- Open VALORANT, which should prompt Vanguard to reinstall.
If these steps don't resolve the issue, consider contacting Riot Support for further assistance.
