After a game update, performance issues like low FPS can sometimes occur. Here are a few steps you can follow to try and resolve the issue:
1. Update Drivers: Ensure your GPU drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the NVIDIA website.
2. In-Game Settings: Check your in-game settings. Sometimes updates reset settings. Lowering settings like Shadows, Textures, and turning off unnecessary features can help.
3. Background Processes: Close unnecessary background applications that might be consuming system resources.
4. Power Settings: Ensure your laptop is set to "High Performance" in Windows power settings.
5. Thermal Throttling: Ensure your laptop is not overheating, as thermal throttling can reduce performance. Consider cleaning any dust from the vents.
6. Riot Client: Restart the Riot Client or reinstall it, which can sometimes resolve performance issues.
7. Windows Updates: Make sure your Windows is up to date.
8. Reinstall VEANGUARD: Sometimes reinstalling Riot Vanguard can resolve such performance issues.
If none of these steps work, consider submitting a support ticket to Riot for further assistance.
