Your specs are quite high-end, so you should be getting excellent FPS in VALORANT. Here are some steps to maximize your performance:
1. NVIDIA Control Panel Settings:
- Open NVIDIA Control Panel and manage 3D settings.
- Ensure you set
Power management mode
to Prefer maximum performance
.
- Adjust Low Latency Mode
to On
or Ultra
.
2. In-Game Settings:
- Set Graphics Quality to low for competitive performance.
- Enable Multi-threaded Rendering
.
3. Update Drivers:
- Ensure your GPU drivers are up to date via NVIDIA GeForce Experience.
4. Windows Performance Settings:
- Go to Performance Options in Windows and set to Adjust for best performance
.
- Ensure Windows Game Mode is enabled.
5. Close Background Processes:
- Close unnecessary applications running in the background.
6. Check for Bottlenecks:
- Monitor CPU and GPU temperatures and usage using tools like MSI Afterburner to ensure there isn't thermal throttling.
If these steps don't improve your FPS, you might want to reach out to Riot Support for a deeper investigation.
