How do I fix boot into black screen (even with external monitor) after failed Bazzite install?

I tried yesterday to install Bazzite OS on my Ayaneo Air Plus (AMD). I got everything set up and the install started. Skip ahead 2hrs it's stuck on the same installing something something "/Locale/x86" something. Seeing no progress I Control+Alt+F3 to see the logs and I see it's repeating the same warning along the lines of: "Warning Britty: unrecognized Bluetooth" then a bunch of lines of code speak below it with each attempt adding to a count total of attempts (at this point it had counted to 54). I let it run for another 15-20 minutes and it's still repeating the same warning. At this point I decided to hit quit and nothing happens. I check the logs and boom it doesn't even recognize I tried to stop the install. I try a few more times and the logs don't even mention I tried to quit multiple times. Thinking it was just beyond borked at this point I force shut it off. Wait 30 seconds, turn it back on, go into the bios, and as I'm about to hit enter to boot back into bootable usb for Bazzite it black screens and shuts off. Now, no matter what I do upon boot it's on a black screen even when connected to an external monitor. Is there a solution or did I just brick my device by force ending the installation? Couple house cleaning answers: 1. For installation, I selected reclaim all space off my M.2 SSD since I didn't want Windows 11 anymore. 2. At no point during installation did my screen freeze or the loading circle stop turning. I left it completely untouched for the better part of 2.5hrs.

* Concerning the install error, check your iso hash against the hash next to the download button. I found that 7zip works well for this. * I suspect that you might be getting the blank screen when the bios is trying to read the efi partition on your nvme disk and the drive is in a inconsistent state. * Sadly, it looks like Ayaneo Air Plus has quite a tendency to brick itself https://www.reddit.com/r/ayaneo/comments/15yx8y8/ayaneo_air_plus_6800_black_screen_after_turning_on/ but hopefully this is not the case. Your best bet would be reddit forums or the Ayaneo Air forums to see if anyone has any fixes

May I ask what’s an iso hash?

Sure, it's not actually limited to ISOs. You are calculating the hash of a file that we can use to confirm that the file you downloaded didn't break in any way while it was downloaded. So for example this is the SHA256 hash for the bazzite-deck-stable.iso that you'll find next to the download button on the Bazzite site

If you run 7zip and calculate a different hash then that would be why the installer failed. That however, doesn't explain why you are getting a blank screen when trying to get into the BIOS though
