pulleys

The question asks to find velocity of B. I tried using the property that sum of velocities of strings is half the velocity of the pulley, but it isn't working. I got 10m/s and the answer given is 2m/s. Thanks.

try using this $$\sum \vec{T} \cdot \vec{v} = 0$$ cuz its complicated asf

Oh, I haven't learnt about that yet, is it part of constraint motion? This question is from a pdf of pulley problems, I was able to solve other ones using the moving pulley relation

It means sum of all internal forces is zero and applying this for different strings you’ll get equations and on solving them you will fetch relation between velocities tension force nhi pdha ?
