joystick not working
A couple of days ago I installeren Bazzite on my ROG Ally, ever since the left joystick of the Ally isnt working properly. The only thing it registers is up and down, I cant go left or right. I checked calibration and it showed me that it doesnt register any movement if you move the joystick to the left or right. The right joystick works perfectly fine. I also tried connecting a controller to the console and everything on the controller worked like it should.
It used to work perfectly fine before I installed Bazzite, is this maybe a software issue? Is there a fix for it?
I do have to say, during installment of bazzite my Ally did drop on the floor, so maybe it's a loose contact, but I dont want to open up the console just yet.

Ally has been known to have stick drift
We can't calibrate the controller like armory crate does
Try to see if you have the same issue in windows
If you do it might be that it had the magic smoke and the horizontal direction broke
Small issue, I didnt dual boot it, I completely replaced Windows with Linux 😅. Thanks for the tip, I will try to reinstall Windows on it to see if it works.
Did it work at all on bazzite?

The console works fine, but the left joystick only has up and down movement, no left or right. Im not sure if it did work when I installed it. It was later at night when I was done, started downloading some games and went to sleep. When I started the game in the morning I discovered the issues.
didnt gamersnexus have this exact same issue on their ally out of nowhere?
The issue is still there when it is in Windows, so now Im gonna go back to the store and sent it in for repairs. found someone online who had the same issue. So thanks for the help
