Dropping frames can be frustrating, especially after upgrading your OS. Here are a few things you can try to stabilize your FPS in VALORANT: 1. Update Drivers: Ensure all your GPU drivers are up-to-date. You can download the latest drivers from the manufacturer’s website (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel). 2. Check Background Processes: Disable unnecessary background applications which might be consuming resources. 3. Game Settings: Lower in-game graphic settings, such as texture quality and shadows, to see if it helps stabilize FPS. 4. Windows Updates: Ensure Windows 11 is fully updated as there can be patches improving performance. 5. Power Settings: Set your PC's power plan to "High Performance" in the control panel. 6. Clean Boot: Perform a clean boot to ensure no background process is interfering with your game. 7. Reinstall VALORANT: Sometimes a fresh installation can resolve performance issues. If none of these steps help, consider reverting to Windows 10 if you had stable performance before the upgrade.
