can this suit be saved?

Hi everyone, I recently got an oxxford suit off of ebay for a good price. Unfortunately, when it arrived I found that it’s too big on me. In general I love wearing more drapey a relaxed silhouettes, but it’s too big even for that, but I’m reluctant to return it, and so I was thinking of taking it to a tailor. My question is, do you think that it can be tailored to a good fit? I was thinking of shortening the sleeves of course and maybe taking in the waist in a little. It’s also a bit too long but I honestly don’t mind it that much (should I?). Thanks!

The shoulder fits nicely, you wont have much of a problem if you do decide to have it tailored. The only problems I see is the long length which could be a problem if you dont have matching trousers (not really sure if the Trousers you're wearin g are the same material as the jacket so forgive me).

can't really make a call on the length of the jacket without a full body shot (ideally with arms at your side) but the length looks fine if the sleeves are altered also when you remark about taking it in at the waist, do you mean the pants (which are difficult to see if they're too big or not) or the suit jacket?

Ah, sorry! Here’s some full body shots. I was thinking of taking in the jacket waist initially, but now I think it looks ok. Here’s some better full body shots:

the length is maybe a little long in the jacket but not overly so if you're going for intentionally oversized i think after the sleeves are pinned (and maybe pant legs a little) by your tailor you can maybe make a call about the jacket length. it's one of those things where it's fine in a vacuum but might look off balance if other things are shortened
