Long loading times
I recently reinstalled valorant and ever since I've experienced long loading times that cause me to usually load in after half of the first round has passed, and sometimes result in me not being able to pick as valorant is unresponsive throughout the entire agent picking phase, this has caused me to rack up 3 temporary bans and over 3 timer penalties, any fixes for this?

Long loading times and unresponsiveness in VALORANT can be frustrating. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Check System Requirements: Ensure your PC meets the minimum system requirements for VALORANT.
2. Update Drivers: Make sure your graphics and network drivers are up to date.
3. Close Background Applications: Close unnecessary applications running in the background as they may consume system resources.
4. Verify Game Files: Use the Riot Client to verify the integrity of your game files.
5. Optimize Network: Ensure your Internet connection is stable. Wired connections are often more reliable than wireless.
6. Adjust In-Game Settings: Lowering the in-game graphics settings can sometimes improve performance.
7. Reinstall the Game: If the issue persists, try reinstalling VALORANT and the Riot Client.
8. Check Antivirus/Firewall: Sometimes, antivirus programs or firewalls could interfere with the game’s performance. Add VALORANT as an exception.
9. Run as Administrator: Try running VALORANT and the Riot Client as an administrator.
If none of these steps help, you might want to contact Riot Support for further assistance tailored to your specific issue.

This is an issue with files loading off of your disk. You might have a HDD. If you do, you should defragment it or get an SSD and place Valorant on it.
Use
windows key + r
than type "dfrgui" to check what type of drive you have.

Solid State Drives (SSD) and Hard Disk Drives (HDD) are data storage devices. SSDs are usually much smaller, thinner, and offer more storage volume, speed, and efficiency compared to HDDs.
