Sudden FPS drops in the agent selection screen could be due to various issues. Try these steps to help stabilize your FPS: 1. Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure your GPU drivers are up to date. 2. Adjust In-Game Settings: Lower your graphics settings, disable V-Sync, and ensure FPS is not capped. 3. Background Applications: Close any unnecessary applications running in the background. 4. Power Settings: Set your PC to 'High Performance' in Power Options. 5. Check for Overheating: Ensure your system isn't overheating. Clean your fans and ensure proper ventilation. 6. Reinstall Game Components: Consider reinstalling VALORANT and Riot Vanguard. If the issue persists, refer to the Riot Games support site for more detailed troubleshooting steps: https://support-valorant.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044355933-Improving-lag-and-performance-issues-in-VALORANT
