It's frustrating to face these issues, especially for such a long time. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this problem:
1. Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure your internet connection is stable. Unstable connections can interfere with chat services and friend lists.
2. Firewall Settings: Make sure VALORANT and Riot Client are allowed through your firewall. More details here: Firewall Settings
3. Network Configuration: Run the following commands in an admin Command Prompt to reset network settings:
1.
netsh int ip reset
2. ipconfig /release
3. ipconfig /renew
4. ipconfig /flushdns
5. netsh winsock reset
4. Check for Background Programs: Certain programs can conflict with Riot Vanguard. Disable or uninstall any problematic software temporarily to see if it resolves the issue.
5. Game and Client Updates: Ensure both VALORANT and the Riot Client are fully updated.
6. Time and Region Settings: Ensure your system's date, time, and region settings are correct.
If these steps don't resolve the issue, it might be necessary to submit a ticket to Riot Games Support for further assistance: Riot Games Support.
