Hemming pants at the cleaners
If you ever hem your pants at the cleaners, do you usually mark it where you want it hemmed beforehand? What do you use to do so (safety pin, chalk, etc)?

the first time i did this years ago i used a paper clip lol
nowadays i use a safety pin though i see the appeal of chalk (it would wash off if you're getting it dry cleaned)
My tailor does a chalk line, I've had other use a safety pin. I know what inseam I want so I usually just tell them, they measure and mark.
yeah when i go in, they have me put on said pants, stand in front of a mirror, and show them where id like the hem. then they put in a pin 📍
