how recognizable is the Burberry equestrian knight to the general public
Hi all,
I lost 35 lbs (16 kg) and it’s my birthday. I’m looking to treat myself to something super nice, please don’t try and talk me out of buying a high end label.
I had this jacket in mind from Burberry. Do you think the equestrian knight is subtle enough?

Forgot to mention I already have their traditional coat as that was a graduation gift from undergrad
The entire reason you'd buy this is that it isn't that recognisably Burberry surely?

Pretty recognizable, but the nova check is more recognizable. But tbh I'd rather get spend the money on something better made and more interesting than a black jacket
It looks "plain" if that's what you mean, but the burberry check is iconic and will be recognized easily.

As people have said the knight is subtle, but the check will be instantly noticed

What are some other brands you’d recommend? I’m open to just about anything
I prefer subtle but I do want to push out of my comfort zone if you will
