If you're experiencing issues with in-game audio, specifically not hearing reloads, footsteps, or other game sounds, try the following steps: 1. Check In-Game Audio Settings: Ensure that the in-game audio settings, such as master volume, sound effects volume, and headphone settings, are properly configured. Make sure nothing is muted or set too low. 2. Update Audio Drivers: Outdated audio drivers can cause sound problems. Visit your audio device manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers. 3. Check Windows Sound Settings: Make sure VALORANT is using the correct audio output device. Right-click on the speaker icon in your taskbar, select "Open Sound settings," and check the output device. 4. Verify Game Files: Corrupt game files can cause audio issues. Open the Riot Client, go to VALORANT, click on the settings icon, and select "Repair." 5. Disable Audio Enhancements: Sometimes, audio enhancements in Windows can cause problems. In the Sound settings, select your output device, click on properties, go to the "Enhancements" tab, and ensure that all enhancements are disabled. Trying these steps should help resolve the audio issues. If they persist, consider submitting a ticket to Riot Support for further assistance.
