Custom item textures
How can I make certain items have custom textures but their normal counterparts have normal textures without changing durability?
MORE DETAILS:
Basically I have a couple of items with more than normal vanilla enchant values so sharpness 10 and stuff and some of them even have custom attributes, I've made these using command blocks and I'm planning on putting them in crates (no p2w btw) but I would like for them to be a bit more identifiable so I want to give them custom textures, also will they work in plugin GUIs such as player auctions?

Lol it's free help, you have to wait for some that knows to answer. You could do this with a resource pack
yea yea its just that people with way weirder questions get answers quicker so its kinda weird but thanks anyway
Maybe weird to you but other could run into it more. Also google could have helped you with this
Yea ive looked on google for a while and found it exactly 3 minutes before u replied XD, also do you happen to know of a plugin that increases the amount of attributes i can give an item?
on modern versions of minecraft, you can use custom model data
(custom model data can change just the 2d texture of an item, isn't 100% related to the 3d model)
