It looks like you're encountering an issue with the
dsound.dll
file missing from your system. Here are a few steps that can help resolve this:
1. Reinstall DirectX: dsound.dll
is a DirectX-related file, so reinstalling the latest DirectX version can sometimes fix the problem. Download and install DirectX from the official Microsoft website.
2. Replace the DLL File: Since you've already placed dsound.dll
in the necessary directories, ensure it's the correct version. It might be worth re-downloading the file from a reliable source or copying it from another reliable system.
3. Run SFC and DISM Commands:
- Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
- Run the command: sfc /scannow
to check and repair corrupted system files.
- If the issue persists, run: DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
to fix Windows image files.
4. Check for Windows Updates: Ensure your Windows (especially N-Version) has all the necessary updates, including optional updates which might be needed for dsound.dll
.
5. Reinstall VALORANT: If none of the above solutions work, try uninstalling and reinstalling VALORANT. This will ensure all game files are present and uncorrupted.
If the issue continues, you might want to contact Riot Games support for further assistance: Riot Games Support.
