disease is x linked, if the mother is heterozygous for the disease the boy could have got the recessive x chromo from mum I feel it could be both, honestly

A could be answer bcoz female affected with XcXc and male with XY in 1st generation And also in second generation male is XcY and female is XcXc One suggestion to you that do these ques with cross It became more easy
