Constant Critical Error messages despite days of trying to debug
So to keep it short and simple, I'm having recurring errors with Vanguard as of the most recent update to it. Basically, the issue is that I'm constantly receiving Critical Error crashes at random points throughout being in-game. It doesn't crash in the lobby or anything like that, only when I'm in-game, and can crash upwards of 10 times in a single competitive game/scrim. I'll attach a list of methods I've tried to fixing the problem along with a summary of what I think the actual problem is below. I greatly appreciate any input into the topic as it is quite detrimental to playing as you'd imagine.
-> Firstly, I started by reinstalling the game as a whole, including Vanguard itself too. This fix presented a few hours of normality, but eventually devolved into constant crashing again.
-> Secondly, I checked over my graphics drivers. I started by resetting my Nvidia 3D Settings as a few others on various forums had said this fixed it for them, however this did nothing for me. I then updated the graphics drivers as I noticed the ones I had were outdated by a month or so, and still, nothing. Finally, I used DDU to completely remove the drivers and freshly installed them again, but to no avail.
-> After this, I checked all hardware stability including Overclocking etc and reset everything to stock, but to no avail either.
-> I then delved into various other fixes regarding the VGC service itself, and things such as compatibility related fixes (e.g disabling fullscreen optimizations, running in compatibility for Windows 8 and running as administrator across relevant executables). At this point I found that the VGC service was set to manual start-up mode, which I then changed to Automatic and enabled it's start-up on system boot. This did not fix anything, and still the crashing persisted. However, at this point I found that every time the crashes were occurring, the VGC service was stopping. So essentially, the timeline would look like:
Service started -> Game started -> Playing game -> Game crash + simultaneously VGC service stops.
I dove into the crash reports from Valorant itself and a lot of errors seemed to be with loading elements in the game such as character models or utility models, namely with one file having a multitude of issues generating elements for Phoenix constantly right before a crash occurred. I can attach crash reports etc at request however this got me thinking towards the possibility of other programs blocking files from being accessed etc, so I searched. I found nothing whilst searching for this, and I don't use any programs that would block things from being accessed, however when trying to use the Riot Repair tool, I noticed despite running it as administrator, it was displaying that it was not running as administrator.
At this point I'm just lost and have no clue what's going on, as I said, any input would be greatly appreciated and I hope someone in here is a wizard with this sort of stuff because I'm certainly not :P
