High game latency and CPU-related stuttering can be caused by several factors. Here are a few steps that might help you resolve the issue:
1. Update Drivers: Ensure your GPU and CPU drivers are up to date.
2. Close Background Applications: Other applications might be using your CPU, causing impact on VALORANT performance.
3. Set VALORANT Priority: Open Task Manager, find VALORANT, right-click it, select "Go to details," then right-click the process, and set priority to "High."
4. Disable Fullscreen Optimizations: Right-click VALORANT executable file, go to Properties > Compatibility, and check "Disable fullscreen optimizations."
5. Adjust In-game Settings: Lower your graphics settings in the game to reduce CPU load.
6. Disable Overlays: Turn off any game overlays (Discord, NVIDIA ShadowPlay, etc.) as they can sometimes cause stuttering.
7. Check for Thermals: Ensure your CPU isn’t overheating. Improved cooling or lower settings might help.
If the problem persists, it may be beneficial to contact VALORANT support directly for more detailed troubleshooting.
