bro do it by considering equal part of it opp to it and it has electric field vector in dirn of 45 degree the resultant is equal to sigma/4epsilonnot E*root(2)=sigma/4epsilonnot

i would say try to imagine it like superposition of a half ring that has been rotated through only 1 quarter....so divide it into differential rings, and vectorily add up their individual E fields.... solid angle should work too.....if through a solid angle of 2pi we have sigma over 4 e0 then for a solid angle of a quarter hemisphere.....u can do the unitary math...
