Does anyone have any better recs for microphone switchers other than this (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DNYF22N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)? The microphone input audio quality is poor, and sometimes, the device will automatically shift my audio volume to 0 or 100. Starting to get complaints lol

Do not use this mic switcher, if you ear buds is slightly not plugged in fully, audio can get cross routed
Highly recommend mic with mute button for each laptop, better if it has a gain knob too
Just get them cheap ones from Amazon, search for desktop mic with mute button

@Highboost88 Yikes--I'll return it then.
My concern with having a mic for each laptop is that there's a chance you may be unmuted for one call while you're in another. Also, there's only one layer of protection with the button vs having separate software and hardware muting with a mic switcher.

Right but sometimes the button colors don't sync up with the software mute. I've had this issue with MuteMe before, and I'm assuming they're one of the better companies out there

No they are hardware mutes, it blocks audio internally inside the mic
