If your sensitivity feels off, here are some adjustments and checks you can perform:
1. Ensure Consistent Settings: Double-check that your sensitivity, DPI, and in-game settings haven't been altered accidentally.
- DPI should be set to 800.
- In-game sensitivity to 0.27.
- RawInputBuffer to "On".
2. Mouse Settings: Check your mouse settings in both Windows and any associated software. Ensure any acceleration or smoothing options are disabled.
3. Crosshair: Sometimes, visual perception changes can cause sensitivity to feel off. Try adjusting your crosshair settings or returning them to default.
4. Update Drivers and Software: Ensure your mouse firmware and drivers, as well as your game and system, are fully updated.
5. Recalibrate Your Aim: Spend some time in an aim trainer or the shooting range to readjust to any perceived changes.
6. Software Interference: Ensure no background software is interfering, such as overlays or other applications that might impact performance or input.
If the issue persists, consider reinstalling VALORANT or resetting mouse configurations.

. Thank you!
smoothing options?
btw it just happened randomly
did you try using a very slow sens as a test for example 800 dpi 0.1
like when ur in the range u randomly change sensitivities, and u go back to your normal one, it feels very different or faster/slower if so, just play for like 10 mins with that sens and it will feel the same :Jett_Cool:
and also if it started feeling faster after u enabled rawinputbuffer try disabling it
im not sure what that setting is but yeah 😭
it just happened like randomly
the problem occured today
and like i have to switch to like 0.22
you didnt play around with ur sensitivity or enable/disable any settings?
but even so
it so high
i disabled
the
mouse setting thing
like i unchecked it
maybe you accidentally pressed the dpi button and made it higher?
wait, i just uninstalled the mouse software
im gonna download it again
i dont think I did
and i dont think theres a dpi button for my mouse
ill try that out
ok
I always played with rawinputbuffer and it felt "normal"
but then like now
my sens feels weird
I tried playing 0.27 in game and it felt really fast
like it
supposed to be low sens
wait lemme try it myslef
0.27 800 dpi right @austin
yeah
for me its not fast neither slow idk :val_CatBigStare:
i mean, i tried to switch back to my old sens'
0.3
and it likes super fast
might be a problem with like
idk
cuz when i remember 0.3 was like mid
not fast not slow
but then now it feels fast
might be a problem with the software or smth
but idk
it might be a problem with val
nevermind, its not
its the same for other games i play
do you have any ideas?
if it feels just way too fast lower it
keep lowering until its at the point
where it feels like your old sens
