van:restriction appears even though I'm using windows 10
I did a lot of research on van:restriction. Apparently this is a phenomenon that occurs in Windows 11. My PC does not have TPM2.0 installed and there is no module. However, it is possible to enable secure boot. I tried watching various solution videos on YouTube, but I could not solve the problem at all. I tried the countermeasures for van-79, but I can't solve the problem. Someone had a similar problem with X. Some people said that they were able to start the app without any problems after changing their account, but I tried it myself based on that information, but it didn't work. Is there a solution?

It seems like you're encountering a VAN restriction error even though you’re on Windows 10. While it's commonly associated with Windows 11, a couple of factors might still affect your situation:
1. Secure Boot: Ensure it's enabled in your BIOS settings. Double-check the steps as any misconfiguration can cause issues.
2. TPM 2.0: Usually required for Windows 11, but not strictly for Windows 10. If your motherboard supports TPM 2.0, you might need to enable it from BIOS or update the firmware. 3. Compatibility Mode: Try running both VALORANT and Riot Client in compatibility mode for Windows 8. 4. Reinstall Vanguard: Uninstall Riot Vanguard and VALORANT, then reinstall both. This can sometimes resolve lingering security module issues. 5. Windows Updates: Ensure your Windows 10 is fully updated to the latest version, as some updates might address underlying issues. 6. Driver Updates: Update all drivers, especially your chipset and motherboard drivers, which might assist with TPM, Secure Boot compatibility. If these steps don't resolve the issue, visit Riot Support and consider submitting a ticket for further assistance.

. Thank you!
It does not work.
I did everything I could, I think it was Riot's side.
There are several people like me.
As I have said to other supporters, this is not an easy issue.
Since the anti-cheat will requires TPM 2.0 no matter what on Windows 11, most likely you will need to downgrade to Windows 10
Secure Boot only won't make Vanguard work
If you have important software that does not support windows 11, you can try dual boot options
Dual Boot basically mean you have 2 OS on the same PC
